Nana protein ice cream is the best thing that could ever be invented in the health and fitness recipes division. If you are lactose intolerant like me or vegan, this ice cream will totally change your life. The summer weather just simply forces us to eat delicious, refreshening foods and this is the perfect solution. It is so simple and easy that everybody can make their ice cream at home. You just need to freeze bananas a few hours earlier BUT if you didn’t, don’t worry! There is also a trick for that. Also, the more ripe bananas, the better taste.
1 banana – 115 kcal
1 cup of strawberries – 50 kcal
1 cup of blueberries – 70 kcal
1 scoop of whey isolate – 110 kcal
What do you need to make your nana ice cream for 2 people?
1-2 frozen cut bananas or 1-2 cut bananas + 4-5 ice cubes
1 cup of favorite berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
1 scoop of whey isolate, any taste you like
Additionally you can add: peanut butter, dark chocolate, dried cranberries, granola, nuts, favorite little snacks (mine are crushed Oreo cookies), zero calories syrup.
Just blend frozen bananas first or crush the ice cubes and then add fresh bananas, stir it and add other ingredients later. Then enjoy the taste of your homemade ice cream. It is so much better than any bought ones in the store!
If you will not finish the whole thing, which is simply impossible, you can still store it in the freezer for 1-2 days.
